Why you'd want to live in Nixa, MO
Nixa, located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains in southwest Missouri, is a quiet town of around 20,000 residents. The town – located about five miles south of Springfield and about 20 miles north of Branson – is largely a bedroom community for Springfield, with a majority of residents traveling to work in the larger city. Called the “Crossroads of the Ozarks,” Nixa offers good schools, beautiful scenery and ample outdoor recreation opportunities. Nixa, settled in the late 19th century, was named for the first name and middle initial of Nicholas A. Inman, the first European settler in the area. Nixa may also be familiar to readers of the Bourne series of spy novels and movies: Nixa is the fictional Jason Bourne’s home town. via CLICK HERE: NIXA MISSOURI HOMES FOR SALE
